The Center for Energy Research and Policy (CERP)

CERP draws its core competencies from Economics, Engineering and Environmental Science, Finance, and Public Policy. CERP employs core faculty and research staff with specialisms in economics and business supplemented by visiting researchers and graduate students with strong research and policy interests in energy.

Tim James

Center Director, Research Professor

CERP is headed by Dr. Tim James. Tim is a research professor and senior global futures scientist in the Global Futures Laboratory. During Tim's 30-year career, he has advised numerous public and private energy-related organizations, world leaders, State governments, and Fortune 500 companies.

Roxana Sánchez Servin de la Mora

Research Fellow

With a strong focus on sustainability, public policy, and data-driven decision making, Roxana brings expertise in coding, research, and policy analysis. Her work spans both the private sector and NGOs, including contributions to the UN, WRI, and CEGAM Mexico. She holds a Master of Global Management in Digital Transformation and a BA in Environmental Science Engineering. Fluent in English and Spanish.
